How often should I have drum tuition?
For children and teenagers, a weekly drum lesson is recommended. Adults once a fortnight or weekly depending on their current ability.
Do I need to bring any drum equipment to the lesson with me?
You should bring your own drumsticks. Everything else is supplied and you will be playing Jeff's studio drum kit during your drum instruction.
Do I need to bring a music book to the lesson?
Jeff will recommend all teaching books (which you will need to pay for) depending on your level and ability which you should bring along to each lesson. Recommended books are highlighted on the Tutorials & DVDs page on this website.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Jeff will require at least 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel in order that someone else may fill your slot.
How often should I practice?
For children, at least 10 minutes every day. Adults an hour per day if possible. As with anything you only get back what you can afford to put in!
What essential drum accessories should I have?
A metronome is a must and also a practice pad. Access to a CD player or iPod at home. Please see the Drum Accessories page.
